Hey, I’m Adrian.

I’m a data analyst and analytics engineer based in the Pacific Northwest. I like finding the signal hiding in messy data — and then building the systems that make sure it’s easy to find the next time too.

Most of my work lives somewhere between the technical and the practical. I build ETL pipelines, design databases, automate the reporting nobody wants to do manually, and occasionally inherit SQL that makes me question my life choices. Across marketing, operations, finance, and logistics, the through line has always been the same: make the data reliable, make it accessible, and make it actually useful to the people who need it.

I started kubesh.co because I wanted a place to write about the work honestly — the wins, the hard lessons, and the stuff I wish someone had written down before I had to figure it out myself.

Adrian Kubesh data analyst analytics engineer

What I work with: Python (Pandas, NumPy) · SQL · DAX · Power BI · PostgreSQL · MySQL · Airflow · Docker · dbt (actively implementing)

Selected work: Built data standardization systems used across entire organizations, automated reporting workflows saving significant time monthly, optimized API integrations cutting costs substantially, and designed database schemas that actually survived contact with changing business requirements.
